The programme is designed to give organisations a practical starting point for establishing an online presence, sharing their work and reaching more people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are open to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Small and growing businesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Startups and entrepreneurs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schools and educational projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonprofit and community organisations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local initiatives that need a simple website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organisations with an existing website that requires basic improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You do not need to be a web designer or have previous WordPress experience. Our volunteers will guide selected participants through the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What support will be provided?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the needs of each selected project, participants may receive support with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Setting up a basic WordPress website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organising website pages and content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choosing a suitable website structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adding information about services, programmes or products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating contact and enquiry pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning how to update and manage the website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The web design support provided during the hackathon is free.
