William Jackson, MAT

William graduated from South Carolina State University earning a Bachelor’s in Education in 1985. Furthering his education, earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Webster University in 2004 with a focus on Educational Technology, Social Media and STEAM. Graduating with honors from Webster University, he created multiple programs incorporating technological curriculums
of hands-on and project-based instruction where students were provided to tools to be creative, innovative and imaginative.
William’s career involves 33 years in public education and past teaching with NASA as an Internet and technology instructor. Higher education instructor applying elements of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), Internet of Things (IoT),
STEAM – Science Technology Engineering Arts Math.
William is not only an educator in public and higher education, he is also a business owner, social media digital evangelist, global blogger and micro-blogger on multiple platforms.

William has been involved with global WordCamp conferences since 2010 and appreciates the WordCamp/WordPress community and the open-source community. He attributes his growth, development, and a continued purpose to collaborate, connect and create content to what he has learned and continues to learn while attending, volunteering, sponsoring, organizing, promoting, speaking and advocating for the WordPress community.
